1997 was the first year where 7th heaven had a very busy schedule. Now with management under their belt, the band started getting more focused on performing live and continued writing more songs.
The management wanted 7th heaven to go on tour with "Bush" and "No Doubt", but after realizing the band had zero product to sell and would come home $80,000 in debt it was decided to pass on that tour until product was in hand. With JY on tour with Styx and now Alec in legal battles with Bon Jovi, 7th heaven was left on the down-low waiting for something to happen. (mainly going into the studio to record a demo to shop). That never happened.
7th heaven became the house band at Durty Nellies in Palatine, IL on every Thursday for most of the year.
Already playing Medley 1 & 2, the band started playing medley 3 & 4 and actually performed all 4 medleys on new years eve at Honest Johns in Elk Grove.
