In 1999 the band was such in bad shape that the only reason the band agreed to do more shows was to make money for having fun. For years expectations were so large for the band and differences in direction that it tore the band at it's core.
Tony had started his new band (The Fez - with Mike Mooshey), Danny joined a band (Supermint) while Richie was working at WallStreetView.com and Dan was setting tile. Around this time Nick Cox called up Rich and moved to Mt. Prospect and asked if the band was still playing because he wanted to play with 7th heaven again.
Everyone agreed that all shows that year are for the band to make money only.. no other goals.
While playing out, the band started pulling larger and larger crowds unexpectedly and wondered what they were doing that kept people coming out more and more.
In Decmeber it was discussed "what are we doing this for?", should the band call it a day, should the band move forward, what should the band do? The band had a fan base and shows, but wasn't sure of it's next move.
Fun Fact: 7th heaven dressed as "Pimp & Hoes"
Tony was the Pimp rest of band were Hoes
