2005 was the busiest year to that point in the bands history.
After playing songs off "Silver" for the past two years, fans started knowing the songs word for word. Each concert had fans requesting more and more of 7th heaven's songs. This got Richie to thinking to shoot a Live DVD of the band playing originals. A risk to do at a cover bar.
The "Live at Durty Nellies" CD/DVD really captures that line-up in it's glory, with a packed club of fans singing all the 7th heaven songs word for word. Shot with 13 cameras and mixed thru a 24 track mixer the DVD shows how fast the band had become in 2 short years.
Another accomplishment was the birth of the annual 7th heaven cruise. Richie had wanted to do this since 1999 and it finally came thru. 60 friends and fans joined the band on-board the Carnival Triumpth. 7th heaven played on the ship and exposed the band to more people outside Chicagoland. Many friendships and relationships came out of that cruise.
It was a success!
Fun Fact: 7th heaven dressed as the 7th heaven Crew for Halloween
