7th Heaven - Live at Durty Nellies

7th Heaven is a GREAT band, make no mistake. Their double CD Silver sounds like one of the best things Def Leppard never did.
And almost all of their covers disc fills my MP3 player. I guess live they sound pretty good too, but like most concert discs,
this just does nothing for me. Although the songs don't sound too bad in this sort of under produced atmosphere,
it's just I much prefer the studio counterparts with the lushness and full textures that the production provides.
The song selection is excellent, with most of the tunes coming from the first disc of Silver and spotlighting their more melodic side,
in a way it's like a best of that album. The DVD though is a nice bonus and watching the show is certainly more exciting than just listening. As much as I am a fan, this set is for those who are a notch about myself when it comes to loving this band.
